Ravensburger Jigsaw Puzzles - A Guide to buying online

Ravensburger Jigsaw Puzzles are certainly one of our favorite brands and are known for their fantastic quality.  Not only are the image choices of the highest quality, but the board backing they use and the snug fit of all their pieces.

Like most European manufacturers, their jigsaw puzzles pieces are of a traditional shape cut, unlike many of the American manufacturers who use odd shaped cuts.

Ravensburger makes Jigsaw Puzzles for all ages.  They have Puzzle blocks of approx 6 pieces for babies and kids starting out and then make a magnificent line of 12-24 pieces Floor puzzles for kids.

For kids / children their jigsaw puzzles then jump from larger piece floor puzzles to 35 pieces and smaller pieces,  It should be noted that although these are smaller pieces they are not the same size as small adult puzzle pieces.  35 pieces, then move up to 60, 100, 200 and 300 pieces for kids.  The piece count is categorized pretty much by age group, starting at age 3-4+, 6+, 8/9+ and then 11/12 years.

Ravensburger then make jigsaw puzzles for Adults starting at 300 pieces and going all the way to the World Largest Jigsaw Puzzle at a piece count of 32,000.  So your choices are large.  The most popular jigsaw puzzle sizes for Ravensburger are 1000, 1500, 2000 and 3000 pieces.  They also make a wonderful line of 5000 and 9000 puzzles and a couple of 18000 piece count jigsaw puzzles.

They also make a Large Format puzzle in the 300 and 500 piece count, separate from their regular 300 and 500 piece count puzzles.  These Large Format / Large Piece Jigsaw puzzles are designed for the elderly with larger easier to handle pieces.  So perfect for those with poorer eyesight or those with arthritis or such who struggle with smaller piece sizes.  They have also become popular though with kids graduating to large piece count puzzles, but prefer larger pieces and also with parents with kids who have autism or similar.

We hope you enjoyed this jigsaw puzzle review / guide of Ravensburger jigsaw puzzles...
